Sorry about the bad news. Here's the note from our Grand Poobah:
The April 28th road trip to Salt Lake unfortunately has been canceled.
While the Rapids website is not showing the change, MLSnet.com and the Fake Salt Lake websites both show the game as being moved to Monday April 30th.
Monday just won't work for most people.
I want to thank Tina and Kelsey for an absolutely OUTSTANDING job at the work they did putting this together for us even though it hasn't panned out.
We will be going to the other game in Salt Lake City in September (the third game of the Rocky Mountain Cup).
And only if there is enough interest, we will be going to Los Angles for a game. There are three possibilities, June 16th vs Chivas, September 8th vs LA Galaxy (Beckham), or October 14th vs Chivas. Remember the 9/8 game is very close to the 9/22 game in Salt Lake City.
Please, give us your thoughts on the discussion boards - or email roadtrips@rapidsclassvi.com about these possibilities. The road trips are EXCELLENT - perhaps one of the best Rapids experiences you can enjoy all year ... and a great way to make some good relationships.
Apologies to the people that had planned on this trip in April.
