Rapids Development System news

The very successful Boulder Rapids Reserve has now become the Colorado Rapids U-23 team (under-23).

This is just one important element in the future success of soccer in the US, as well as for the Rapids. By having full-scale, integrated development teams the Rapids can take advantage of a vertical youth player structure in the hopes of growin' good players right here in Colorado, without having to hope the college draft can provide needed expertise.

The Colorado Rapids U-23 team will play the Rapids senior team in 3 exhibition games through the summer of 2007. All games @ Boulder's beautiful, intimate Pleasantview Soccer Complex.

Sunday, May 20th, 5pm.
Wednesday, June 13th, 5pm.
Thursday, July 26th, 5pm.

Note... these games can sometimes be cancelled or changed, so check back at the U-23 website for updated details.
