Colorado Players: True Strength
I want to give a shout out to all of the Rapids players for their exceptional on-field presence before the game had even started.
I noticed it at the time, but didn't have a good way to share the love... but the good folks at Yellow Card Journalism managed to capture the moment beautifully.
It was 28 degrees and blowing, drifting snow. The poor little kids who walked out with the players must have been freezing. Even though the players need to try and stay warm before their game, they gave their warm jackets up to cover the kids.
As a father of two youngin's, I was touched by this simple, kind act by the guys.
