Rapids injury update

injuries.gif2nd game of the season, we're already talking injury reports.

As you can see, Jacob Peterson took quite the knock to the head from that two-bit useless hack, Fecundo Erpen, as we squared-up DC against the infinite sides of The Dick last weekend.

Here's the complete injury report for the league.

Jacob is listed as OUT for this game with a concussion.

I was reminded of this head-kicking incident last night when Eric Wynalda gave, well, everyone a yellow card to put the players on notice that apparently head MLS referee what's-his-face (nice guy) doesn't want to see head kicking or hitting anymore, and it'll be called hard. (except by our referees).

Apparently MLS is already under-cutting all of the pre-season work he did to try and keep players safe, and hasn't issued a single word about Stupid.

Yep. If you scroll on over to the "discipline" page you'll find NO MENTION of any action against Burpen, I mean Erpen. I guess he'll get to play this weekend.

Way to go MLS. Gonna have to start handing out my own yellow cards. Sheesh.

And now for a PG-13 rated art class. I was looking for an image of Jacob Peterson. This droll, modern piece is what popped up. Tantalizing, yet austere. Naive in it's progressive realism. Studious in showing a simplicity of thought line.
