Rapids in the electronic age
Our most recent and updated communication from the Rapids regarding new games added to Colorado's schedule has been sent... via postcard.
The new games are not listed on the MatchUp web page, but if you like junk mail and killing trees, here's the scoop:
May 23: US Open Cup qualifier vs Fake Salt Lake @ The Dick. Time TBA, probably around 7pm. $10, general admission.
June 10: Rapids vs. Chinese National Team @ The Dick. 6pm. Season ticket holders use "Special Game B" tickets. The rest of us? Dunno.
July 19: All-Star Game vs. Celtic. We all knew this, I think. Latest rumors leaking out of LA is that Beckham may not be available to play. Stay tuned...
July 31: Chivas (Mexico) vs Pachuca in the $1 Million SuperLiga tourney @ the Dick, 8pm start. Should be crazy. Bring your red, white and green.
