Can Lightning Strike Thrice?

Okay Mr. FireClavijo.com, I'd like to see your thoughts on this opinion:

Coach Clavijo claims success at having made the conference finals both years he's been gaffer of the Rapids. If you read FireClavijo.com, they'll present that he's done so without actually winning the games. But a conference final is a conference final, RIGHT?

Sure, making it one time certainly can be considered lucky.

Making it twice indicates that someone's got bloody knuckles from knocking on a lot of pine. Lucky, indeed!

But making it three years in a row??? Fernando would have to be dying his skin green and exchanging his Uruguayan accent for an Irish one!. I mean, even Lucky's Charms got nabbed every now and again! So here's the question:

Is it lucky if you do it 3 times in a row?

Now, it's understood that we're standing outside in the cold rain at the moment looking to find a way inside to the nice, warm, dry playoffs, but if Clavijo does indeed get us there and takes us to within a single game of the MLS Cup title match again, would the nay sayers finally start disappearing?

Perhaps it depends on what success means to you. In any case, Feel Free to Let Us Know What YOU Think:
