There are people out there thinking I'm going to rip into the Rapids, their management team and coach.
And normally, I probably would. It's a joy I rarely forego. Heck, on the drive home from the Bulldog I actually came up with 23 negatives that make it hard to be a Rapids fan before deciding to focus on getting home safely.
But tonight, I'm giving it a rest. Why? Because none of it really matters, does it? It's not about the specifics, positive or negative.
Nope. It's truly about just one thing: entertainment.
And everything has culminated to create a situation where the Rapids are not providing me with the entertainment that I expect.
I'm sorry. I know the Rapids are a "business" as people keep pointing out, but the business owners don't seem to realize what that business is: entertainment.
Sorry to be repetitive, but I'm hoping the message gets through. This is about entertaining people. I am an American consumer with many competitive options for my time.
I am not satisfied. And that should scare the Rapids more than anything else I can say.
