Hopefully the Rapids today took a step towards getting the missing piece of the puzzle that fans have been clamoring for since November. Tam McManus' deal is finally completed, and he's now officially our newest Coloro Rapid Striker.
After being released in 2005 by Scottish Club Hibs, he signed on with Dundee in 2006 and netted 10 goals for a team that failed to stay in the top flight. Facing the financial struggle of relegation, he again was released only to land at Falkirk.

Never finding a role in Falkirk, he returned to his first club, Dunfermeine, where he went on to spend 2007 scoring 3 goals in 25 appearances.
The question is, will Tam fit in with the Rapids and regain his scoring ways? I know I had questioned the Terry Cooke signing, who's resume was equally worrisome before he landed in Denver. Hopefully, that initial feeling is as off as it was for Cookie.
With the signing of McManus, the Rapids had to clear a roster spot. After a difficult beginning to his Rapids career, followed by steady improvement and winning over Rapids fan's hearts, we say goodbye to Dan Gargan.
Always a hard worker and a player that took time for the fans, we wish him well and hope he finds the next step in his life a successful one.
