During the pre-season, only season and 1/2 season tickets were available to the public for Class VI seating.
Mark has negotiated with the Rapids to provide a special single game ticket for only $17, a heck of a good deal in our opinion.
If you want to join Class VI for a game or two and find out what we're about, please peruse this website and buy tickets at the official Rapids Ticket ordering website.
Several Class VI fans will be there!
From the Rapids' website...
Friday, April 7: RAPIDS SUPPORTERS HAPPY HOUR, 4:30-6:30pm at the Celtic Tavern
This event, organized by the fans, for the fans, will be a great activity for Rapids supporters 21 and over to celebrate the start of the Rapids' 2006 season!
Join the Rapids' Supporters Clubs for this pre-season Happy Hour get-together at the Celtic Tavern, located at the corner of 18th Street and Blake Streets in Lodo! There will be drink specials available for fans who attend, and it will be a great way to meet all the rabid Rapids supporters before the season! For more information on this event, call the Rapids at (303) 405-6123, or to visit the Celtic Tavern online.
Class VI would like to recognize the efforts of a few individuals who helped get this off the ground:
First, Bill Fisher - who's provided sound advice ... excellent words ... and this website! Remember, Serious. Fans. Is Bill's creation.
Second, Karen Stanfield - who created a lot of the finalists in the logo voting - has cleaned our graphics for us - and edited our Flyer.
Third, Ben Wolfe - who created our logo - and helped with getting membership off the ground.
And a BIG thank you to Marcus Myrick and Jason Linscott in the Rapids front office who have provided everything Class VI has needed for success!
And thank you all for joining Class VI ... because the more of you there are ... the better Class VI will be.
There are a couple of things left to discuss - and email me back with your thoughts.
1. Is there interest in a T-shirt for our section? I was thinking of something like having our logo somewhere on the front - maybe over the left breast - and on the back Bill's idea of "Serious. Fans" and maybe we make the "o" in serious a soccer ball. Dunno ... but some kind of T-shirt.
Or maybe we go with a scarf?
2. Do we want a banner for the rail in front of our section??? What should it have on it?
