Game Day

Remember - over on the grassy knoll on the south west side of the stadium is the location to come and do a little tailgating. The event is hosted by the kind folk of the Centennial Firm - but many Class VIers generally are over there having a beer and dog (Bill, Greenie, Carlos, Jeff, Me).

Come on over - lots of nice people!!!

Call for Help!

As you can see from the spacing of these entries - life for me gets really busy!

So this is a plead for help :) I need ideas ... I need volunteers ... we need to grow Class VI ... it'd be great to get 100 people heading into the new stadium. The more people we have - the louder our voice to the front office as well as the men doing battle on the field for us!

There's lots to do ... just voice up and I'm sure there's something for you!

Right now, I've been focused on the banner - but there is also some efforts going on with regards to getting something like a color pin for everyone.

My next effort is going to be working with the front office towards next seasons prices and seating section.

But we need to spread the word - as pointed out by Carlos - we need to update the flyer - so that it's aim is to just get people to come check us out.

We need to print and hand out flyers - and other ideas to spread the word. My latest idea is to offer free tickets at the next away viewing party if they sign up their email to be contacted about Class VI.

So if you have any interest in helping ... let me know!!!

Quick Update

We've gained a couple more people!

I'd like to hear from you if you're enjoying sitting in Class VI ... if you have any concerns ... or even if you have some complaints!

Be sure to say hello to the people sitting around you - we all certainly have one common subject to talk about.

So, thanks to the British Bulldog on Stout and Broadway in downtown Denver - we have a banner coming in a couple weeks. A very generous move from Issac - the owner. If you're ever looking for a wonderful place to catch a game - the British Bulldog is top notch. An if you like Pakistani food - they have the most amazing dish - Chicken Masala. I've had many other dishes too including the fish and chips as well as the sausage sandwhich. I've been catching the Champions League games there. It's also going to be THE PLACE FOR RAPIDS AWAY GAME VIEWING PARTIES. The first one went VERY VERY well.

The Day is HERE!

Well today is the offical birth of Class VI!

Let's have a good time - and let's cheer our boys on to victory!

LETS GO RAPIDS

There will be a tailgate going on before the game - it will be over by the grassy knoll to the South West of the stadium entrance. Come check it out ... it was started last year by some great members of the Centennial Firm (Section 127) and took off pretty good. BYOB.
