Tomorrow night should be a nice evening for a game. Rapids host Los Angeles ... a team that is struggling badly.
There will be tailgating as usual over by the grassy hill. See the Centennial Firm for tailgate details.
Remember to wear your pins!!! And when you see someone wearing a Class VI pin - say hello!!
And if you don't have one yet, $4 each - I will bring them to the game to give out.
Our banner will also debut tomorrow night!
The road trip was fun - four VIers made it ... Mark, Laura, Candy, and Bill (and a couple l'il tykes). There were over twenty or so people who made it to Salt Lake including kids - which means Jr. VIers Dillon and Kai were there as well!!!
See you all tomorrow night!
Sounds like everyone had a blast at the away-game viewing party at the British Bulldog.

Big thanks to Jeff for all the work he did on this!
As usual the tailgating will be going on over on the South West side in Lot C - grassy knoll. There is a banner wishing Pablo good luck at the World Cup under the Centennial Firm Tent on a table ... come over and sign him some good will!
No grills showed up last time - so if you want to cook something you probably should bring your own means.
Remember to email me about the Pins - even if you do NOT want one - I'd like to know so I get an idea of how much money this will work out to be.
Also, an idea was tossed out there that maybe it'd be a bit better if we all pushed more towards the midfield to be less spread out. So if you're closer to section 126 then 124 ... think about filling in some of those open areas.
Alright - I won't be there this weekend - but do CVI proud!!!
Quite a few Class VI members will be in Salt Lake Saturday, May 27th to watch the smack down against Fake Salt Lake! We'll also have the Rocky Mountain Cup in attendance, won by the Rapids last year in it's first year. See RockyMountainCup.com for details.
If you'd like to join us, feel free to drive out (8 hour trip, not bad at all).
Or... There's the Rapids Party Plane!
Seems like a dozen or more of us are booked on the following flights, leaving Saturday morning, catching the 2pm game, and returning Saturday night.

I sent out an email about the Pins ... if you didn't receive an email - I do not have your e-mail address. Please drop me an email and let me know.
Also, apologies for not BCCing everyone on the email - I'll avoid that in the future.
I hope everyone is enjoying Class VI as much as I am. So far I've only heard positive things ... I'd really like to hear everyone's opinion and ideas!!!
Previously I sent out a question about T-shirts - that wasn't such a well received idea because people want to wear their Rapids jerseys to games.
It was suggested that a small pin may be the way to go - that way it'd be easier for everyone to identify each other and say hello!
I've done some work on this ... and I've attached what the pin would look like. It'd be 1" big. The cost kind of depends on what kind of response I get about this ... you have to buy in increments of 100. 100 pins will make each pin cost about $3 each. Obviously we don't have 100 people in Class VI yet - so perhaps $4 each to help ease the strain on my wallet for this? The extra pins will go to new recruits - hopefully they will all be gone by the opening of the new stadium!
What I need to know from everyone is this do you like the idea of a Class VI pin? How many are you willing to buy at $3 or $4 a piece? Please respond - your replies are important to whether or not we go ahead with this idea or not.
Class VIers - May 27th is the first game in the Rocky Mountain Cup! Right now there are close to 20 Rapids fans traveling up to see the game ... the Cup will be there too - with the Rapids fans of course!
If you want tickets to sit with other Rapids fans - or any other kind of information - drop me an email (I won't be at the May 6th game) and I'll direct you to the right places.
I guess right now you can get a flight up and back for $128 on Frontier - there are already a bunch of Rapids fans on the flight - so it should be fun.
Me - I'll be driving the Cup to the game.
Make it a nice memorial day weekend as you cheer on the Rapids in destroying Fake Salt Lake! And if you go - there's a T-Shirt that you can wear that says "Fake Salt Lake". Just drop me an email!
