Houston Victory

Well, a fine performance by Joe Cannon to be sure - and Class VI was there cheering them on ... about 40 of us showed up.

IMPORTANT: Get your deposits down on season tickets if that's your plan ... the more we have the more important CVI is to the Rapids while the ticket negotiating is worked out. Remember, they are fully refundable if you are not happy with the deal that is settled on.

Also, if you have one or more of the international flags - please bring them to the game - and then after the game hand them over to Mark - we need to be sure they show up each and every game.

And a special Thank You goes out to Jacob Peterson for making a birthday girl's kiss wish come true!

CVI indoor ...

Loses again - 3:2 ... but it really could have gone either way.

Everyone seems to be having a really good time - and CVI wants to give a big shout out to Josh Oqueli for putting this together!

There has been some interest expressed into maybe a CVI south team (the current team plays in westminster) ... if this interests you let me know - we'd need someone to also head up the effort.

Class VI continues to grow!

Welcome our newest members Erik B. and Don E. - when I was going around talking to everyone about the ticket situation - I meet them both - and voila! The Class VI passion is contagious.

For a little history - when Class VI was launched - the membership goal was set to get 50 members. We accomplished that back in late May. Since then we've added 10 more - and now have 60 members!

The newest goal now is 75 members by the end of the season - and 100 members to open the new stadium in Commerce City.

Be sure to help spread the word - if you see someone sitting amongst us that you're not sure is in CVI - say hello and let them know they are sitting in the Passion that is Class VI - and get them to join up if they are true fans!

Oh yeah - and wear those pins and say hello to others with them on. Good friendships are forming every game!

There will be pins available at the game - $4. Be sure to wear yours and introduce yourselves to each other.

Welcome Ryan M. to Class VI!!! We are getting VERY close to our newest goal of 60 members. When you encounter other true Rapids fans - remember to let them know about Class VI.

Smackdown!

With games in hand, the Rapids are poised to potentially capture 1st place in the West! It'll take some luck, but it's looking possible.

Especially since we are continuing our near-continuous home-game streak with two more games coming soon.

Note time and date changes!

Thursday July 20th: 6:00 pm. Yes! 6:00 pm! against Chivas who have finally deflated a bit, so let's jump up and down in our best soufflé-bashing imitation!

Wednesday July 26th: 7:30pm against the raging Dynamo of Houston. Uhhh, let's be different than the rest of MLS and win this one!

KC the hard way; Red Bull(dog) TV!

Thanks everyone for showing up, even though the weather was pissing down all day and depressing even the most stalwart Rapids fan.

Even Clint Mathis decided to make an extraordinary effort, piling on to the Wizards' Woes with an extra time slam-bam off a great assist from Thiago Martins!

Let's continue the Eastern Conference smackdown!

Rapids v Red Bull New York
With another rare away appearance on Friday, July 14th, it's time to hit the British Bulldog to support the team!

NOTE that the game time has been moved and warped!!!! It is now NOON on Friday, July 14th. It's only available on Direct Kick, but you can watch at our favorite pub with the official viewing party.

The British Bulldog, located at 2052 Stout Street in Denver (Broadway and Stout are the cross streets. The British Bulldog is directly across from the Westar Bank location) Phone: 303-295-7974.

July 8th game!

The Wiz come to town for their annual smackdown on us. It's time for a change. With referees not calling as many penalties for diving lately, Josh Wolff should be out of luck.

It's time to change things up a bit and get a few points. Chivas' good run of form lately means we've been bumped to 4th place. However, we have 2 games in hand over them and can move into a tie for 2nd place in the West if the Wizards will cooperate.

See you all Saturday night @ 7pm for the game!

Centennial Firm is tailgating prior to the game, around 5pm, and have suggested that everyone bring French and Italian food and drink to share!
