The games are VERY BIG from here on out ... and while we don't get to gather together at Invesco - we do get to gather together at the British Bulldog.
If you haven't been to an away viewing party yet - this is the real deal. I'm thinking the place will have a nice turn out - and the atmosphere will be fantastic!!!
One of my favoriate Rapids moments was the viewing party for the second leg of the Conference Semi-Final last year with the win against Dallas.
And the opening game this season was amazing as well - as were many other away game parties! And remember - the Bulldog is no longer smokey since the new laws in Denver - and the place is full of Soccer Fans! It's such great fun.
Give it a try - I hope to see you all there 8PM - Downtown Denver - the corner of Stout and Broadway!!!!
Class VI would like to welcome:
Patrick B, Sicily B, Mary E, Mark S, Jenna C, Jason M, Joe C, and Elaine C!!!
We're getting VERY close to our 2006 goal of 75 (raised up from 50!) with membership being at 73.
Thanks for joining us in Class VI.
Class VI: Serious. Fans.
Remember - you don't need to be a season ticket holder to be a part of Class VI - just sitting with us when you do cheer on the Black and Blue!
Tina - for stepping into the Road Trip Chair.
This year Class VI launched it's first road trip up for the second and deciding Rocky Mountain Cup game. Fifteen CVIers made the road trip up to see an unforgettable RMC victory! It'll be a game none of us will forget.
And Tina played a major role in getting this trip done. In the future she will be assisting/taking the lead in organizing road trips - and we're better off for it! Talk has already begun which games should be considered - if you have ideas - have a chat with her. Of course nothing will be finalized until the 2007 schedule is out - but there has been whisperings of the MLS Cup Final - and perhaps seeing one of the country's new Soccer Specific Stadiums!
We also need to extend a big Thank You to Mary and Joe! It's still in the infancy stage - but a kick off pre-season party for CVIers in 2007 is being considered. Not too much has been put into it yet - but there are some big ideas being floated out there.
Mary and Joe are going to assist/take the lead on this event - and we're very excited to have thier help!
Class VI is a pretty loose group. No fees, no meetings, no obligations. Thus, it's sometimes not obvious how to get in on the action! So... Join Class VI!

A Season Ticket Deal that is Too GOOD to Ignore!
We are pleased to announce that in our inaugural year, we now have more than 70 dedicated fans joining us in Class VI and it looks like we'll hit our goal of 75 members before the end of the year!
Moving into the new stadium in Commerce City, Class VI supporters will be located in Section 108 - a VIP section for the price of a Premium Seat!
See the seat location here and get a 360 degree view of our perspective of the field!
Normally these seats go for $540 for 18 games. The Class VI price will be $450! Half season (9 games) will be $234. Remember, there will be no parking fees in the new stadium, so that will save an additional $160 over this year's costs!
Membership is making the difference!
Sometimes we get so wrapped up in the great time we are having during the season, we forget that Class VI is first and foremost a dream to create a great place to sit and cheer and yell and have a great time with the best soccer fans.
We're getting there, and we have every new member of Class VI to thank. As the section continues to grow, the Rapids Front Office is taking notice. And with every head we turn, we all benefit!
If you want to get in on the action — great seats, great cameraderie, great fun — then help us grow! Get your season tickets in the Class VI seating club. E-mail Mark Bodmer of Class VI with any questions you might have or if you need assistance.
Several people asked for a link on how to see the cool 3D-like tool allowing us Class VI members to see what our seats will be like in 2007 at the new Rapids Stadium.
Check it out. It's Sexy!

I also wanted to add a personal note. Wednesday night was a blast. Welcome to the new folks. Most of the game I forgot the stadium was empty because we had a nice crowd rockin' and rollin' and sharing candy down in our li'l corner of Soccer Town. Cheers!
Well the crickets were out in Invesco last night! But despite the all time low MLS attendance - Class VI shined!
The section was hopping and a lot of fun.
Remember everyone, if you're a serious fan of the Rapids - there's no reason to not sit among other Rapids fans in either Class VI or the C-Firm (the standing sectin in section 127). It makes the games that much more fun!
Bill's back from Ireland - presumably sober - and now the website is functioning again.
We'll start updating more frequently now!
